SENIOR COPYWRITER

Language, Please.

What are words, really, but a bunch of self-important squiggles? Hilarious, heart-wrenching, electrifying squiggles that shape the perceptions, which shape the societies, which shape the entire realities we live in. (No pressure, right?)

If you need help saying the world for that website, print campaign, social media channel, or whatever cool project you have in the works, take a look at my writing. For over 12 years, I've helped articulate the points of view of some of the best-loved brands in America.

Graphic Design

Words and pictures go hand-in-hand, so I developed the essential graphic design chops to keep these elements in harmony. More seasoned designers love working with me because I speak their language.

Hi there. I'm Stephanie. For the past twelve years, I've helped some of America's best-loved brands define and discover their most powerful asset: Their voice. From household-name corporations to start-ups just setting out, my copywriting has connected great brands with customers in a way that transcends the transactional.

I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in Advertising with a minor in Anthropology. During that time, I interned with both the Southeast’s largest advertising agency as well as its largest independent PR firm. Next, I served as the marketing Copywriter for the Life Is Good Company, where I wrote hundreds of emails and countless catalogs, in addition to digital advertising pieces, t-shirt slogans, social media content, and more taglines than I can remember.

I went on to write copy for women's mega-retailer, Chico's, and was appointed lead Copywriter for the launch of its outlet division's e-commerce website. I later applied this experience to my work with billion-dollar corporations (Samsonite and Vida Shoes), as well as small businesses in the technology, arts, and cultural sectors. These days, I connect my passion and my purpose as Senior Copywriter at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando. My writing has been featured in Gainesville Magazine, Elfster.com, and many other print and digital avenues, as well.

When I'm not mulling over age-old riddles of rhetoric, you can usually catch me cooking, traveling, reading-up on world history, or bouncing ideas off my husband and our dog. They've heard my worst jokes and still seem to like me.
